My pets
Silver
My rabbit, Silver, died yesterday.
He was a netherland dwarf that we rescued a couple of years ago. He was a sweet little thing, albeit a bit flighty, and he hated my dogs, understandably.
I cosied him up in the garage over the winter, and I was really looking forward to when the weather would turn nice and he could get back out on the fresh grass in his run. Sadly, it is not to be.
Ger buried him in the garden this morning.
Big Ben
Hi Everybody
I have just joined the Blog network. My wife and I have a large long haired German Shepherd Dog called Ben. He's 4 years old a still a big puppy, he has a fantastic temperament, although can be a little boisterous from time to time. He does not get on with Labrador, a golden retriever attacked him around a year ago. He seems to think all Labradors are his enemy. The reputation shepherds have, people always to assume he is the aggressor, living up to the breads reputation.
He has a skin problem, can't eat anything with gluten or wheat. We give him Aloe Vera Gel in his dinner which controls him symptoms, otherwise it's an expensive regime of drugs from the vet.
Does anybody else have a dog with a similar problem and what you use to help the condition.
Look forward to your replies

New Here!
Hi there
I'm new to Groups (although I have been blogging here for ages) and I just joined this group, so I though I would tell you about my family..
I have three kids - Anthony (8), Laura (5), and Rachel (3); then I have my boys - Archie (Collie aged 1), Angus (Labradoodle, age 6 months) and our new arrival - Oscar (Dalmation, 7 weeks today); then my cats - Wookie and Yoda are 2 year old brothers and our new arrival is Pixie and she is 6 months. We also have a rabbit called Silver (rescued - age unknown), 5 hens of questionable parentage and a Buff Cochin rooster.
Looking forward to boring you all silly with tales of my menagerie! ![]()
