New Here!

by PurpleDragon @ Monday, Mar. 10, 2008 - 18:31:39

Hi there

I'm new to Groups (although I have been blogging here for ages) and I just joined this group, so I though I would tell you about my family..

I have three kids - Anthony (8), Laura (5), and Rachel (3); then I have my boys - Archie (Collie aged 1), Angus (Labradoodle, age 6 months) and our new arrival - Oscar (Dalmation, 7 weeks today); then my cats - Wookie and Yoda are 2 year old brothers and our new arrival is Pixie and she is 6 months. We also have a rabbit called Silver (rescued - age unknown), 5 hens of questionable parentage and a Buff Cochin rooster.

Looking forward to boring you all silly with tales of my menagerie! :>>

Oh, my, yes! It certainly can be a bit frantic here sometimes. The labradoodle is the biggest handful because he things he is still the same size as the Dalmation.

What animals do you have?

My son wants fish. I reckon we've got enough to cope with, and I have to say - even though the dogs belong to the kids, it is me who feeds them, walks them, lets them out in the night for their last pee, clears up after them, blah blah. I don't fancy having to clean out fish tanks as well.

Lol true but the tanks you only really have to do every 3/4 weeks as long as you dont overfeed them :) Plus they are very relaxing find myself just sitting there watching the fishtank instead of the TV lol

Yeah, and another good thing about fish is you don't have to carry a pooper-scooper with you when you go out.

True except for the old fishnet when they die :(

Yeah, but at least you aren't in the garden with a shovel in the pouring rain, digging a flippin great hole!
