Taking over an old chair.

by JazJD @ Wednesday, May. 28, 2008 - 12:51:05

Very old chair that the dogs decided to take over:)Bed chair
Even if someone sat on it,Scamp( brown and white) would still fall asleep on top of it with his head resting on your shoulder and his paws dangling.

Some kitties

by Jenniebaby @ Sunday, May. 25, 2008 - 10:07:30

Here are our (now quite grown up) kitties, sitting on their moderately large (we plan to get them a bigger one for their birthday) kittie tree.

This is actually pretty unusual - Shadow (black) isn't a big fan of the tree (it was second hand and she never really got over the fact that it smells of other cat) so she rarely gets on it voluntarily.

Bandita (white and black) on the other hand, totally loves it and sits on it pretty much all the time.

Good with kids?

by NotBob @ Friday, May. 09, 2008 - 13:22:19

People often ask if Paddington is good around children what with him being such a large dog.
The simple answer is that he's good with anyone, from 0 to old age.

The best answer, though, is to direct the person asking the question to this YouTube clip, titled "Baby Laughing Hysterically at Newfoundland Dog"
I think it shows how gentle a big dog can be.

(Although technically, as the dog in the clip has black and white markings, it should be called a Landseer rather than a Newfoundland. It's only a subtle difference, the two breeds came from similar breeding stock.)

However, having said that about Newfies being good with kids, I wouldn't leave a child alone in a room with any breed of dog . You can never be too careful.
